19 widows have now been trained and are beginning to secure an income for themselves and their children by making incense sticks. This is how it works:
Kingdom Foundations (KFS) purchases the material and provides the one week training. KFS then sells back the finished product to the original company and pays the widows everyday that they have worked.
With this program, KFS is able to reach into villages that desperately need the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The widows come to a church facility to work and a local pastor helps oversee the program and is able to share the good news of Jesus with these women and children.
Of course, these women are only earning a small amount each day. KFS would like to see a widow sponsor program begin to help with the additional costs of food, clothing, medical expenses, and their children’s education.
Would you like to commit to sponsor a widow for a year? $15 per month would tremendously help with the additional expenses each women has. By learning 2 different trades (i.e.… making incense, basket weaving or making slippers), the goal is to have each widow be self-sufficient within a year’s time. They would be able to purchase the materials and then sell back the final products themselves.
Please consider helping a widow further her success while she learns & earns and through the power of the Gospel, her soul is turned to Jesus in the process.
